About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join our team in Bogota, Colombia. As a key member of our Red Hat Solutions Architect team, you will become a subject matter expert for our solutions and work closely with customers to understand their technology, people, and processes.

You will recommend open source solutions that solve tough business problems and take a big-picture view of the customer's organization to recognize challenges and help overcome them with comprehensive, cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical presales support and architect solutions that include Red Hat offerings, consulting services, and training.
  2. Build trusted adviser relationships with customers or partners to gain an in-depth understanding of their business and IT environments.
  3. Support customer meetings through presentations, demonstrations, and explanations of the value of Red Hat's technologies and architected solutions.
  4. Guide engaging conversations, customer relationships, and architected solutions that result in sales growth.
  5. Demonstrate the ability to interpret technology and market trends as a foundation for product and technology roadmaps.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of architecture experience with focus on middleware technologies.
  • A record of working in a consulting setup with background in a strategic advisory capacity to senior IT and business executives.
  • Broad and deep technical experience with middleware technologies on a delivery and architecture level, specialized preferably in one of the following or equivalent solutions: cloud, DevOps, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) like Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform; integration, like Red Hat Fuse or Fuse software and Red Hat JBoss Data Virtualization; automation or application development Java architecture with demonstrated architect-level involvement with aspects of middleware.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple offerings and services.
  • Proven ability to work with distributed cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers.
  • Good balance of strategic and tactical skills.
  • Desire to work with passionate people and make an impact.
