About the Role

Ansell, a leading global provider of protection solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Territory Sales Manager Medical to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the medical sector.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Performance: Achieve annual sales budget targets for the territory, determined by the Regional Sales Manager. Maximize resources and produce results through effective sales strategies and tactics.
  2. Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including hospitals, surgical centers, and medical distributors. Identify new sales opportunities and grow existing accounts.
  3. Product Demonstrations: Demonstrate hand protection equipment to healthcare professionals in major hospitals nationwide, showcasing the performance and benefits of Ansell's products.
  4. Distribution Network: Suggest adjustments to the distribution network, proposing new distributors when needed and identifying opportunities for growth. Monitor distributor performance and risk, making recommendations for improvement.
  5. Market Intelligence: Monitor competition activities and provide relevant market intelligence to the company, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  6. Territory Management: Monitor the assigned territory, identifying opportunities and risks due to market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory issues. Provide feedback to the company on these matters.
  7. Training and Development: Provide training to the sales team on Ansell's products, services, and regulatory requirements, ensuring they are up-to-date on the latest information.
  8. Salesforce Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the Salesforce system, ensuring timely and effective sales reporting.
  9. Project Management: Direct technical processes for large projects assigned, penetrating the market in designated territories.
  10. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication, product knowledge, and technical support.
  11. Process Improvement: Implement efficient administration of the product mix, new products, and positioning of the Ansell brand values to all customers.
  12. Market Share: Share market information with the Marketing and Procurement Department, identifying opportunities for growth and new product implementation.
  13. Customer Support: Provide technical and training support to end-users, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  14. Industry Events: Participate in workshops, trade shows, and exhibitions, representing Ansell and promoting our products.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: A degree in nursing, health, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Territory Manager or Account Manager, with a strong background in sales and marketing.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in Office 360, especially Excel, and basic financial mathematics. English language proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
  • Competencies: Advanced English language skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. Salesforce proficiency, with experience in sales and marketing. Postgraduate studies in Medical Health, Safety, and Environment, or a related field. Risk assessment and prevention, HazMat emergency management, and sales competency.
Additional Requirements

This role requires:

  • Travel: Travel on assigned territory by land for customer portfolio service, unless air travel is approved by the company. International travel for Congresses, Training, etc., as needed by company needs.
  • Work Environment: Typically spends 40%~50% of time in face-to-face meetings and calls with end-users, 20%~30% with distributors, and the rest in administrative work (Salesforce, reporting, etc.).
