The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities, while maintaining successful relationships with internal support organizations.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Management
- Lead a team of sales representatives and provide guidance and coaching to ensure they meet their sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and revenue.
Sales and Business Development
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Mining, Pulp & Paper, and Discrete manufacturing industries.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in these industries.
- Map business needs to products and solutions, and communicate the value proposition to customers.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
- Have in-depth knowledge of ALI software and solutions, and be able to explain their business value to customers.
- Familiarity with competitor's solutions and the ability to differentiate Hexagon PPM's offerings.
Education and Experience
- Hold an Engineering or Business Administration degree.
- Have relevant industry experience in a sales or technical pre-sales role, preferably with consulting experience.
- Have a strong understanding of CAPEX project development and OPEX industry investments.
Additional Qualifications
- Be able to discuss product capabilities and explain the business value of solutions.
- Represent Hexagon PPM with integrity and professionalism, acting as an agent of the company.
- Develop rapport with customers for the long term.
- Diligently use the corporate sales CRM system.
- Be highly data-driven with strong fact-based decision-making skills.
- Have experience with distributed people leadership and management.
- Have strong business and financial acumen and analysis skills.
- Be available to travel 50%.
