About the Role

The Cash & Trade Process Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of Citi's trade finance activities. This professional is responsible for monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and evaluating processes and data to identify policy gaps and formulate policies. They interpret data, make recommendations, and research factual information to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Contribute to risk assessments and drive actions to address the root causes of operational risk losses by challenging historical and proposed practices.
  • Governance and Oversight: Provide governance and oversight, including technology operational risk, to ensure that all product, operational, fiduciary, regulatory, and payment system risks are actively identified, monitored, and adequately controlled.
  • Process Improvement: Identify system or process weaknesses and propose resolutions to mitigate exposure and increase processing efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Integrate other control functions to ensure all risks are fully scrutinized and identify risks that cross business units, organizing cross-functional solutions.
  • Issue Tracking and Resolution: Track and resolve all risk issues.
  • Process Management: Manage processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Provide ad hoc reporting as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in trade finance, risk management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Project management skills and proficiency in English (Intermediate/Upper Intermediate).
  • Education: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
