Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operational elements of Quality Verification throughout all phases of development, including pre-production, production, launch, and ongoing support.
- Establish Quality Assurance methodologies that enhance early quality measures and promote a proactive approach.
- Employ a metrics-driven strategy to enhance product quality and improve project performance.
- Collaborate with a diverse range of project leaders and development teams across various global locations.
- Manage change effectively, viewing obstacles as opportunities for strategic improvements.
- Assess resource needs, guide talent development, and implement changes to meet both operational and strategic goals.
- Mentor team members, set performance objectives aligned with their development plans, and conduct regular one-on-one meetings.
- Track and enhance team skill sets through training initiatives and proactive recruitment efforts.
- Provide guidance and support to fellow leaders managing diverse teams.
- Champion a culture of diversity and inclusion, fostering an environment that nurtures creativity and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, encompassing test strategy, implementation of testing methodologies, automation, best practices, reporting, mentoring, resource management, and team building.
- At least 4 years of experience in managing teams.
- Over 4 years of experience with project management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Qmetry) within an agile framework.
- Familiarity with game development processes, interdisciplinary dependencies, and associated risks.
- Proven experience working in a collaborative team environment across multiple locations and time zones.
