At Control Risks, we are seeking a highly skilled Research Supervisor to join our VANTAGE team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding researchers to ensure they produce high-quality reports that help our clients protect their integrity and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Management: Ensure VANTAGE work is properly scoped, allocated to researchers, tracked, and delivered on time and within budget.
- Client Communication: Communicate directly with clients to clarify project scope, address questions, and suggest potential additional research avenues.
- Quality Control: Review and approve VANTAGE work, ensuring projects meet high standards and client specifications.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to ensure high-quality work and adherence to global delivery standards.
- Team Collaboration: Engage with colleagues in the Business Intelligence team to ensure seamless project execution.
- Training and Development: Assist Regional Research Manager in training new researchers in the VANTAGE methodology and approach.
- Quality Monitoring: Monitor quality of work and provide feedback to researchers, motivating and guiding them to ensure focus and direction.
- Team Support: Interact regularly with other Supervisors to provide support and feedback on VANTAGE work.
- Service Improvement: Participate in discussions with other Supervisors to provide insight on potential service/product improvements.
- Recruitment: Support the Regional Research Manager in recruiting new researchers.
- Experience: Proven experience in writing, researching, and reviewing/editing due diligence reports, with demonstrated excellence in research, writing, and editing in English.
- Project Management: Experience in managing projects, especially where the project team is spread across several locations.
- Research Techniques: Strong knowledge of research techniques, databases, networks, online registers, and archives, as well as other OSINT research tools.
- Influencing Skills: Experience influencing people across an organization, especially without direct reporting lines.
- Time Management: Proven ability to meet project deadlines.
