About the Role:

ChampionX is seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer to join our team in Bogota D.C, Colombia. As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for generating value and profitability for the Company through the identification and development of business opportunities and offering innovative solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strategies to increase business results.
  • Identify trends, customer needs, and business opportunities.
  • Visit clients to generate opportunities for new business development and follow up on these visits.
  • Prepare technical and economic bids/proposals for clients.
  • Provide technical support during equipment installations in the field.
  • Elaborate designs of artificial lift systems and prepare commercial offers.
  • Follow up the performance of the equipment installed in client locations and elaborate KPIs.
  • Prepare technical reports with engineering recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Metallurgical engineer discipline with 5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of Coiled rod and Sucker rod, failure analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of project management, ALS systems application design.
  • Strong technical knowledge and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities.
