As a Cloud Solutions Advocate, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and evolution of a suite of cloud technologies, guiding prospects and clients in their transition to AWS.
To facilitate your outreach efforts, we will implement multi-channel, targeted campaigns designed to help you uncover new customer sales opportunities.
Once you connect with a customer or prospect, you will effectively comprehend their business challenges by employing exceptional listening and communication skills, showcasing how these challenges can be addressed and the distinct advantages of resolving them with AWS services.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will thrive in a high-volume setting, meet activity-based performance metrics, and build credibility with decision-makers.
The candidate will utilize strategic prospecting techniques to identify, create, and qualify opportunities; subsequently collaborating with sales to ensure that the opportunity is clearly understood and that next steps are well-defined.
Once qualified, you will employ an opportunity management process to guarantee that opportunities are smoothly transitioned to the appropriate sales resources in a timely and customer-friendly manner.
Your success will be evaluated based on the achievement of individual and team activity and opportunity creation targets.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Meet daily activity metrics – outbound calls, decision-maker contacts, lead qualification.
- Capture, track, and advance qualified leads.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills through all levels of communication.
- Effectively penetrate target accounts to provide access for our sales teams.
- Understand customer pain points, requirements, and correlate potential business value that can be delivered through AWS services.
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS offerings.
- Accelerate customer adoption.
- Follow up on lead opportunities and seek additional revenue prospects.
- Contribute to the knowledge base, Wiki, and other AWS resources to enhance the customer experience.
- Demonstrate strong technical and sales capabilities.
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Manage time efficiently, meet personal objectives, and collaborate effectively with other members of the sales and marketing team.
