About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services Colombia S.A.S. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud architectures that meet customer business needs
  • Collaborate with customers and AWS teams to craft highly scalable and resilient cloud solutions
  • Help customers understand best practices around cloud-based solutions and migrate existing workloads to the cloud
  • Develop and maintain a strong foundation of knowledge around AWS cloud services and the cloud ecosystem
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking
  • Technical degree in Electrical, Computer, or Networking Engineering, Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
  • English fluency, written and verbal
  • Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
  • Working knowledge of AWS services, such as Elastic Compute Cloud, Elastic Block Storage, and Simple Storage Service
  • Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
  • Experience with solution-selling methodologies
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Solutions Architect Associate certifications desired
