Job Opportunity: Heavy Duty Logistics Specialist

As a Heavy Duty Logistics Specialist, you will oversee the transportation process of oversized and heavy loads, including construction materials, military equipment, and industrial machinery.

Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Loading Planning and Coordination: Plan and manage the transport of oversized and overweight loads, ensuring compliance with route regulations and permits.
  2. Route Analysis and Permitting: Conduct thorough route assessments and secure necessary permits for heavy hauls.
  3. Carrier and Client Communication: Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and clients to schedule and monitor shipments.
  4. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all loads adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipments, permits, and compliance documents.

Requirements:

  1. Education: A high school diploma is mandatory. While a bachelor's degree is not required, it is preferred for those studying international business, business administration, foreign trade, finance, logistics, or related fields.
  2. Experience: You must have at least 2 years of experience in logistics, focusing on the transportation of heavy, oversized, over-dimensional, overweight, and/or project loads.
  3. Language Skills: Advanced English skills are essential (C1 or higher).

Benefits:

  1. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., following the American calendar.
  2. Contract Type: Indefinite-term contract.
  3. Location: This position is available remotely, specifically in Colombia.
  4. Compensation: $5,775,000 COP per year.
