Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements and translating these into user stories from clients on multiple projects. This will involve working closely with the Project Manager to scope, manage development/QA, and handover to the client while ensuring project budget/time is used effectively.

Responsibilities

  1. Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open communication with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders ensuring that all parties are informed about project progress and any potential blockers.

  2. Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Develop and maintain accurate documentation for projects throughout their SDLC, gathering requirements and translating them into user stories on Jira and Test Plans on Confluence.

  3. Quality Assurance and Testing: Conduct quality assurance and testing of processes, and create test plans/test cases with related bug tickets where applicable.

  4. Scope Management and Risk Assessment: Manage scope creep and time effectively, evaluating risks to project timelines and communicating with the appropriate team members.

  5. Client and Stakeholder Management: Lead communications between internal and external teams, acting as a translator between clients and internal technical teams to provide a clear understanding for all involved parties.

  6. Documentation and Project Support:

    • Support internal and external teams throughout the SDLC with effective documentation and notes, ensuring that every stage is properly documented.

    • Escalate issues as necessary to guarantee project success.

  7. Collaboration and Teamwork: Assist with project management tasks to work cohesively as a team, ensuring smooth client delivery.

Requirements

  1. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.

  2. Technical Background: A technical background is required, with knowledge of code/software development and its general functionalities.

  3. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and report updates to the PM/Lead as needed.

  4. Relationship Management: Great relationship management skills, with the ability to work with multiple clients and internal teams.

  5. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with experience in project management, story management, scope management, and time management.

  6. Requirements Gathering: Experience in requirements gathering and translating into proper user stories.

  7. RPA Technologies: Experience with RPA technologies is preferred, but not required.

Technical Environment

  1. JIRA: Experience with JIRA, a suite of agile work management solutions.

  2. Confluence: Experience with Confluence, a team workspace where knowledge and collaboration meet.

  3. RPA: Experience with RPA technologies, such as advanced automation software.

  4. Amazon WorkSpace: Experience with Amazon WorkSpace, a cloud-based virtual desktop.

  5. Lucid Chart/Process Mapping Software: Experience with Lucid Chart/Process Mapping Software, which helps visually solve complex problems.
