Procurement Operations Regional Process Manager
Munich Re, a leading reinsurance company, is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Operations Regional Process Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Procurement Operations team, you will play a critical role in optimizing resources and enhancing operational efficiency across the Americas.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for improving efficiency within the Procure-to-Pay process and supporting efficiency projects through content for all Business Units in the Americas region. This includes:
- Developing and implementing process improvements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Identifying and reporting opportunities for process weaknesses and implementing improvements.
- Developing and enriching content into the Coupa platform to meet business needs and increase automation.
- Supporting special processes in the P2O environment and examining and reviewing processes for standardization.
- Ensuring pragmatic and innovative solutions to reduce complexities while complying with applicable guidelines.
- Managing and implementing local and regional standardization projects throughout the operational and strategic purchasing process.
- Designing a change strategy and providing an integrated view of change.
- Providing transformation advice and consultancy support to the organization.
- Working with the Procure-to-Pay community to influence the change delivery schedule and ensure optimal change adoption and time to realize new ways of working.
- Developing and supporting the deployment of Change Management interventions and assisting with propagation of these solutions across the organization.
- Accountable for continuous improvement in end-to-end processes for Source-to-Contract and Purchase-to-Pay for all BUs in North America and Canada.
- Responsible for improving efficiency in Source-to-Pay processes and supporting efficiency projects through content within a matrixed organization across multiple countries and BUs.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in business or finance.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement or process improvement with excellent service management and communication skills.
- Broad experience with digital processes and solutions – Coupa experience is an advantage.
- Ability to solve complex challenges and research for new solutions outside of traditional approaches.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes.
- Ability to execute with minimal guidance and strong initiative.
- Ability to recommend and support delivery when technical solutions meet business objectives.
- Very high level of customer focus and entrepreneurial thinking.
- Independent and creative thinker who considers cross-functional and downstream impacts.
- Intercultural awareness and ability to work with a globally diverse team.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced change management skills and proven ability to guide significant change management programs.
- Willingness to travel and/or work in different time zones virtually.
