About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Project Manager to join our Global Business Services Center (GBSC) Strategy, Enablement & Transformation team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the successful identification, planning, and execution of projects supporting the Mastercard Legal and Global Affairs team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Responsible for planning, developing, and executing schedules to ensure timely completion of project deadlines and milestones.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with project leader and legal team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings under the scope of the project.
  • Process Improvement: Provide insights to enhance processes and tooling, support implementation best practices and process improvements derived from identifying areas of weakness and strategizing improvements.
  • Reporting and Data Management: Develop, run, and distribute status and progress reports to update leadership and project team members. Take responsibility for the data integrity, organization, and maintenance of core content for project status and deliverables.
  • Risk Management: Identify and escalate potential risks, delays, or conflicts, and adjust workflow to meet demand and team capacity.
  • Stakeholder Management: Regularly communicates to senior management regarding the status of specific project deliverables.
  • Analysis and Assessment: Perform analysis and assessment activities to provide stakeholders with timely updates.
  • Data Visualization: Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and other data visualization tools to communicate key metrics and trends.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience in large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Comfort Level: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Process Improvement: Experience evaluating business processes and providing advice on ways to effectively streamline business processes and efficiencies (i.e., Lean Six Sigma).
  • Professional Services: Professional services or consulting experience a plus.
  • Project Management: Project and/or Program Management experience, with a good understanding of a typical lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Experience with risk management and investigation, consulting and strategic judgement, and business process assessment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication (written, oral, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
  • Data Analysis: Experience in analysis of operational data to support business decisions and proven process management experience - inclusive of process design and system optimization.
  • Data Visualization Tools: Experience in data analysis and visualization tools.
