About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Campaign Manager to join our team at Critical Mass. As a key member of our digital marketing operations team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing email campaigns that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Email Campaign Management: Set up, implement, manage, track, and monitor email campaigns within ESP platforms.
  • Strategy and Planning: Partner with the strategy team and other stakeholders to implement user journeys for email campaigns, including cadence and frequency of touchpoints.
  • Deployment and Delivery: Establish and maintain the deployment calendar, monitor campaign deployments, and ensure deliverability across ESPs.
  • Access and Roles Management: Define and manage ESP access and roles for internal teams and clients.
  • Quality Assurance: Manage the agency and client quality assurance rounds in conjunction with the QA department.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding results, deliverables, and statuses of programs and initiatives.
  • Technical Architecture and Design: Own the technical architecture and design of the web solution and oversee front-end development activities.
  • Requirements Gathering and Estimation: Gather new user and business requirements, map them to appropriate technical solutions, and estimate the associated development tasks.
  • Documentation and Release Management: Ensure concise and clear documentation is maintained by all peers for the projects, as dictated by each capability's guidelines and best practices. Own software release activities, including reviewing code changes, client demos, QA hand-offs, and presenting solutions and justifications for tasks.
Requirements
  • English Proficiency: English Proficiency (B2+ reading, writing, and conversation).
  • Experience with ESPs: Experience with Adobe Campaign Classic, Adobe Campaign Standard, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey Builder, or Braze Canvas.
  • Experience with Email Marketing: At least 3 years of experience building audiences in one of these tools at minimum.
  • Additional Skills: Experience in AJO (Adobe Journey Optimizer) is a plus. Minimum of 4+ years in high-volume email marketing operations or management role. Working experience on segregations, data set management, and test data sets. Very strong knowledge of dynamic tokens and email content manipulation. Very strong knowledge of email and ESP limitations. Expertise of HTML and CSS (including HTML5 and CSS3), as well as responsive design and coding practices for emails. Experience with Litmus, Email on acid, or Return Path, as well as experience with QA on mobile devices. Understanding of media queries for responsive layout, especially in emails. Detail-oriented, organized, and the ability to meet deadlines while working on parallel projects at the same time. Proven experience with modern web standards, cross-browser and email clients compatibility issues. Strong experience with version management tools such as Git, Bitbucket, TFS, etc. Strong knowledge of branching strategies. Ability to work well within a team. Capable to work under tight schedules. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams both within and between organizations, including the ability to explain complex processes to a non-technical person.
