Transforming Airline Revenue with Data Science

Kambr, a leading revenue management software provider for the commercial airline industry, is dedicated to revolutionizing how airlines optimize their revenue. Our data science team plays a pivotal role in this mission, leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to develop cutting-edge solutions that drive strategic decision-making.

As a Senior Data Science Engineer at Kambr, you will be at the forefront of data-driven innovation in the airline industry, collaborating closely with software engineers, product managers, and business analysts to develop and implement sophisticated data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and deploy advanced machine learning models and data analysis algorithms that drive key business outcomes and enhance our revenue management solutions.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science innovations into our products and ensure they deliver actionable insights.
  3. Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability in processing large datasets.
  4. Mentor and guide junior data scientists, helping them grow their skills and contribute effectively to team projects.
  5. Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends and insights, and lead efforts to translate these findings into strategic recommendations and improvements.
  6. Interact directly with airline customers to present and introduce new data science products, troubleshoot any issues, and provide advisory services to ensure their success with our solutions.

What We're Looking For:

  • A seasoned data science professional with a strong background in revenue management or similar experience, preferably with a proven track record of developing sophisticated models and strategies that directly impact revenue optimization for airlines.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and implementing data-driven solutions, with expertise in designing and deploying machine learning models and data analysis algorithms.
  • Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages, and experience with SQL.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to guide junior team members and influence project outcomes.
