Job Title: Client Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Support Engineer to join our team at Anthology. As a Client Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide multi-level troubleshooting and technical support to customers via phone and email
  2. Work closely with customers to resolve complex technical issues
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer problems
  4. Draft, review, and issue product bugs/fixes into the Knowledge Base Open Case
  5. Represent the Customer Support department in product meetings and reviews
  6. Manage technical contributions of other engineers assigned to the project

Requirements:

  1. Familiarity with programming in an object-oriented language, preferably Java
  2. Light experience with multiple computer operating systems like UNIX/Linux and Windows
  3. Light experience configuring multi-node environments that run enterprise-level applications
  4. Ability to configure and maintain a load balanced environment
  5. Understanding of overall application server maintenance including operating system installs and upgrades
  6. Familiarity with data structures and analysis and design of algorithms
  7. Working knowledge of software engineering principles, database design, and web application development (preferably in Java/JEE)
  8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  9. Solid oral and written communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  10. Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge of data networking including routers, configuration, and operation
  2. UNIX and Windows NT administration skills
  3. Basic knowledge of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and
  4. Knowledge of Struts, Tomcat, and Weblogic
