Senior Business Development Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Strategist to join our team at LHR Américas. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that align with our company's strategy.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a global leader in the energy industry, with a unique position in the hydrocarbon market. Our client combines market discipline with a long-term view of the future, born of nine decades of experience as responsible stewards of the Kingdom's vast hydrocarbon resources.
In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business ideas, assessing their feasibility, and articulating the rationale for pursuing identified opportunities. You will engage with internal and external entities to stay knowledgeable about current or emerging business trends, conduct desktop market research, and develop business plans and financial models.

You will also be responsible for presenting new business ideas to senior management, developing thought leadership reports, and managing cross-functional teams to develop business plans for new opportunities.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking, or equivalent, with an MBA or equivalent, and professional certifications like CFA, CMA, or PMP
- 10 years of relevant experience, with exposure to multiple industries, or 15 years without an MBA or certification
- Broad industry experience, including oil and gas, technology, professional services, real estate, and infrastructure
- Knowledge of venturing activities like commercialization, spin-offs, and joint venturing, project development
- Strong finance background, including experience in financial valuations and modeling
- Background in strategy development or relevant experience
- Experience with developing deal strategy and market positioning
- A strong analytical ability to synthesize data into meaningful insight
- Experience with market intelligence platforms, analytics, and reports
- Monthly base salary: $12,000
- Monthly overbase: 25% of monthly base salary ($3,000)
- Benefits supplement: 20% of monthly base salary ($2,400), increasing to 30% after 6 years ($3,600) and 35% after 12 years ($4,200)
- Severance package: 2 weeks' pay per year of service (up to 5 years), increasing to 4 weeks' pay per year after 6 years
- Employment tax benefits: no reporting to home country governments
- Employee share purchase plan: eligible after 12 months, with a maximum purchase equal to 10% of monthly base pay ($1,200) and a 20% share discount
- Incentive plan: annual, based on performance, approximately 1.8x monthly base salary ($21,600)
- Travel allowance: annual, approximately $8,200 per household member 11+ years old residing in Saudi Arabia and $6,000 per household member under 11 years old
- Vacation and paid holidays: 38 vacation days, 4 travel days, and 11-13 paid holidays
- Medical and dental plan: complimentary in-Kingdom Johns Hopkins medical care and facilities for employee and eligible family members, subsidized in-Kingdom dental services
- Educational assistance plan: out-of-Kingdom assistance up to 5x monthly base salary ($60,000) or the company max ($48,500), plus 3 round-trip economy air travel tickets; undergraduate college-age children receive 2 round-trip economy air travel tickets; in-Kingdom assistance up to 2x monthly base salary ($24,000) or the company max ($16,300)
- Settling-in allowance: one-time payment, 100% of monthly base salary ($12,000) for family status, 60% ($7,200) for single/bachelor status
