This is an exciting opportunity to join HITACHI ENERGY COLOMBIA LTDA as a Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist, where you will play a key role in driving process excellence and contributing to the company's productivity, cost, and quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Improvement and Development
Lead the identification, research, and analysis of machinery and equipment to propose changes and new applications that align with defined objectives and priorities.
Project Quality AssuranceEnsure the quality of projects carried out by external partners by providing technical support and warning of critical points in the area.
Productivity EnhancementSeek alternatives to optimize processes, coordinate automation and/or mechanization projects, and implement rationalization, simplification, or outsourcing initiatives to increase productivity.
Technology IntegrationCoordinate the installation and start-up of new equipment/technology to ensure seamless integration without impacting operational efficiency.
Feasibility StudiesConduct technical and economic feasibility studies for the implementation of new processes and technologies, considering the acquisition of new equipment and investments.
Problem-Solving and ImprovementPlan and coordinate studies to eliminate deviations and operational problems, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
Requirements
- Education
Bachelor's degree in Production, Process, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Experience10 years of experience in continuous improvement processes.
Language SkillsAdvanced/Fluent English.
Knowledge and CertificationsKnowledge of Lean Methodology, quality tools, operating systems, project control/monitoring software, process simulation software, and statistical analysis. Black Belt certification is desirable.
