Crop Sciences Senior Commercial Manager

SGS is seeking an experienced Sales and Business Growth Specialist to join our team in the Crop Sciences sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth and expanding customer relationships, with a deep understanding of the Crop Sciences industry.
About the Role:
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Crop Sciences sector across Europe, developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and expansion.
- Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and developing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Deliver High-Quality Services: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services to clients, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Crop Sciences sector, informing business development strategies and recommendations.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports on sales activities, client interactions, and business performance, providing insights to inform future business decisions.
About You:
- 10+ years of experience in commercial roles within the Crop Sciences or related industries.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and expanding customer relationships.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of GLP Crop Sciences operations and testing requirements.
- Fluent English language skills, with additional languages such as French, German, or Spanish highly beneficial.
