The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to join our team at Four Seasons. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our hotel, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. Your expertise in food and beverage operations will be invaluable in driving our culinary and mixology experiences to new heights.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring seamless execution of all aspects of the business.
- Attend and participate in all planning committee meetings and events, providing strategic input and guidance.
- Monitor and review daily revenue reports, labor reports, and profit and loss statements, analyzing results and implementing corrective action when necessary.
- Conduct regular tours of the hotel, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance the guest experience.
- Meet regularly with all managers, supervisors, and non-management employees, fostering a culture of open communication and collaboration.
- Ensure that all standards and policies are in place and enforced, maintaining the highest level of quality and service.
- Maintain and elevate the concept integrity of each venue through collaboration with the F&B and marketing teams.
- Develop and implement profit improvement ideas, policies, and procedures, driving revenue growth and cost savings.
- Assume authority of the General Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of operations and guest satisfaction.
- Respond appropriately in the event of any hotel emergency or safety situation, prioritizing guest and employee safety.
- Maintain a solid working relationship with the hotel owners, participating in owner's meetings and providing regular updates on hotel performance.
- Personally meet and interact with guests, reviewing written guest comments and following up on any service issues or needs.
- Directly supervise the Director of Rooms and Director of Food and Beverage, providing guidance and support to ensure successful departmental operations.
Requirements
- Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Degree required or equivalent experience in hotel operations and/or management, with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience.
- Strong background in food and beverage operations, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and improving guest satisfaction.
