We are seeking a skilled Virtual Immigration Intake Specialist to join our team at Dalal & Mehta, LLC. As an integral part of our immigration law firm, you will be responsible for driving our ability to help individuals with their immigration cases by utilizing your knowledge of immigration and empathy to perform intake and sign clients up for consultations with our team members.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that pre-conditioning packages and systems meant to help prospective clients get prepared for their meeting are received by the scheduled clients in a timely manner.
  • Follow up with clients who declined our services and with current clients to conduct quality control calls and interviews.
  • Keep detailed notes in a central database documenting all contacts with clients before, during, and after the meeting, including all follow-up attempts.
  • Facilitate a professional introduction to the legal team once an engagement is signed and then open the file.
  • Manage the welcome process and conduct quality control checks at predetermined milestones during the first 30 days and in some cases, during the pendency of the matter.
  • Meet regularly with team members to discuss goals, initiatives, performance areas, and other essential topics.
  • Develop and maintain records regarding billable hours spent on specific cases and perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and manage own schedule to balance availability for meetings with prospective clients.
  • Actively engage in dialogue with management regarding the quality and volume of leads, offering constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement based on your experience on the front lines.


Requirements:


  • The successful candidate should have prior experience successfully converting clients to purchase high-ticket tangible products and professional or financial services using a consultative methodology.
  • The successful candidate should have some real-life experience that they can use to empathize with clients who often come to our firm with challenging and sometimes deeply personal situations.
  • The successful candidate should embrace metrics, scorekeeping, transparency, and accountability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are an absolute must both in person, by phone, and via email.
  • Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills are essential for this role.

The base pay for this role is commensurate with experience and education, with a potential to take home a significant amount of money on a monthly, quarterly, or annual cycle.



This position will perform duties under normal office working conditions, including the prolonged use of a computer, office equipment, and working in close proximity to others. Essential physical requirements may include standing, walking, stooping, typing, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
