Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Director to join our team in Colombia. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within the assigned geographic territory, focusing on Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Ecuador. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop new business strategies, expand adoption of our capabilities, and contribute to the overall growth strategy for driving Gigamon's business activities in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Performance: Achieve sales quotas through the development of new customers and growth of existing accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Territory Management: Possess advanced knowledge in cybersecurity and cloud sales, with networking knowledge being a plus.
  • Client Communication: Drive high levels of client communication and engagement, building customer champions and securing incremental business.
  • Travel and Meetings: Travel as needed within the territory to achieve sales and business development goals, consistently conducting effective sales calls and meetings to create, nurture, and close new business opportunities.
  • Presentations and Demonstrations: Deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and on-site customer visits to promote our solutions and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Market Research: Research and analyze the territories, markets, competition, and product mix to identify opportunities and drive growth.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, or related field.At least 10 years of experience in a related area or an equivalent combination of education/experience (cybersecurity, networking, and/or cloud is a must).Self-starter, highly motivated for success, with ability to succeed with little or no close supervision.Proven customer and channel relationships in Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Ecuador.Team player, able to work closely with associated work partners to build/develop opportunities.Capable of understanding market dynamics and applying direct or indirect sales approaches.Able to select and sort appropriate channel partners for success.Proven track record of analytical capability in a high-performance environment.High attention to detail and strong organizational and administrative skills.Proven success in overachieving quotas.Experience with sales qualification processes and sales frameworks.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.Ability to deliver written and oral presentations (English proficiency is a plus).Proficient in using the latest versions of Microsoft Office products.Experience with Salesforce.com.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
