Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Identity Access Manager to join our team. As an Identity Access Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and ensuring the security of user access to our information systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities- Administer User Access and Permissions: Ensure that users have the necessary access to information systems and applications, while maintaining the highest level of security and compliance.
- Conduct Regular Access Reviews and Audits: Regularly review and audit user access to ensure compliance with security policies and identify any potential security risks.
- Collaborate with IT Teams: Work closely with IT teams to implement and maintain access control policies and procedures, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems.
- Investigate and Resolve Access-Related Issues: Investigate and resolve any access-related issues or incidents in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
- Monitor Access Logs and Generate Reports: Monitor access logs and generate reports to identify unauthorized access or suspicious activities, providing valuable insights for security improvement.
- Enhance Access Control Measures: Work closely with other security professionals to enhance access control measures, staying informed about industry trends and best practices.
- Provide User Training: Provide user training on access control policies and procedures, ensuring that all users understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining the security of our information systems.
- Contribute to Access Control Documentation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of access control documentation, ensuring that all relevant information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Bilingual English/Spanish: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required, as you will be working with a diverse team and interacting with users from various linguistic backgrounds.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Related Field: A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, demonstrating a strong foundation in IT principles and practices.
- Minimum 4 Years of Experience in Access Control: A minimum of 4 years of experience in access control or a related role is required, showcasing your expertise and ability to manage complex access control systems.
- Minimum 2 Years in a Lead, Supervisor, or Manager Role: A minimum of 2 years in a lead, supervisor, or manager role within IT is required, demonstrating your leadership skills and ability to manage teams.
- Familiarity with Access Control Systems and Tools: Familiarity with access control systems and tools is essential, as you will be working with various systems and technologies to manage user access.
- Understanding of Identity and Access Management Principles: A strong understanding of identity and access management principles is required, ensuring that you can design and implement effective access control systems.
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as you will be working with complex access control systems and identifying potential security risks.
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required, as you will be working with various stakeholders, including IT teams, users, and security professionals.
- Knowledge of Regulatory Requirements: Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to access control, such as GDPR and HIPAA, is essential, ensuring that you can design and implement access control systems that meet regulatory requirements.
- Security Certifications: Security certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), are preferred, demonstrating your expertise in security and compliance.
- Experience with Access Control Technologies: Experience with access control technologies, such as IAM solutions, is preferred, showcasing your ability to design and implement effective access control systems.
