Job Summary

The Medical Scientific Liaison will play a critical role in cultivating relationships with healthcare professionals and opinion leaders in the hematology and rare diseases space. This position will be responsible for disseminating scientific information, facilitating the exchange of unbiased information, and promoting Pfizer's medicines in a fair and balanced manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster collaborative relationships with key opinion leaders and facilitate the exchange of scientific information between the medical community and Pfizer.
  • Provide scientific information on the latest clinical trials, product administration characteristics, and therapy management to healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with academic centers to ensure access to current medical and scientific information.
  • Conduct technical presentations to healthcare professionals to ensure accessibility of scientific and practical product information.
  • Maintain contact with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals through face-to-face meetings, virtual meetings, and other communication channels.
  • Participate in medical educational programs and disseminate technical information regarding Pfizer's medicines and disease concepts.
  • Identify competitive intelligence and provide data on products to healthcare professionals upon external requests.
  • Participate and interact with healthcare professionals in local, regional, national, and international scientific meetings.
  • Facilitate and support scientifically the projects involving external and internal customers.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Medical Doctor (MD) Degree Required.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • At least 1 year of Pharma Industry or Corporate Health Services experience is required.
  • Strong medical-scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge, with hematology and epidemiology experience being a differentiation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Effective communication of technical/scientific information.
  • Previous experience as MSL is a differentiation, but not required.
