We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Scientific Liaison to join our team at Bayer. As a Medical Scientific Liaison, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities- Scientific Communication: Plan, prepare, and engage with KOLs to provide dissemination, clarification, and education of scientific data, study protocols, meeting abstracts, and professional literature.
- Interactions with Medical Societies: Answer medical/scientific queries of Medical Societies regarding Bayer products and organize/support/participate in advisory boards.
- Congress and Convention Participation: Network with KOLs, establish new contacts, and gather competitive intelligence at congresses and conventions.
- Scientific Education Activities: Plan and organize scientific training and education events/sessions with KOLs within their specific therapeutic area or product.
- Reporting and Tracking: Submit timely reports of field, events, and tracking activities against agreed objectives.
- KOL Identification and Profiling: Contribute to internal understanding of specific KOL interests, expertise, and impact in the medical community.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Medicine required; advanced degree in science-related field preferred.
- Experience: Experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred or experience in drug information, clinical research, and development.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to build productive work relationships.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of drug development process, clinical research, evidence-based medicine, interpretation of statistics, and local and international health and compliance regulations.
