Job Summary
CAL, BARRANQUILLA, BOGOTÁ, MEDELLÍN Y BUCARAMANGA Solvo S.A.S is seeking a skilled Pre-Litigation Paralegal to assist attorneys in the early stages of legal disputes. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, research, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in legal software and databases.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Case Intake and Management: Conduct initial client interviews and gather relevant information.
  • Evidence Collection: Gather and organize evidence, including medical records, police reports, and witness statements.
  • Legal Research: Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents.
  • Document Preparation: Draft demand letters, settlement agreements, and other pre-litigation documents.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular contact with clients to provide updates and gather additional information.
  • Coordination with Opposing Counsel: Communicate with opposing counsel to negotiate settlements and exchange information.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage case files, calendar deadlines, and assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in paralegal studies or a related field; certification preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in pre-litigation or litigation support; familiarity with personal injury, employment, or other relevant legal areas.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, research, and communication skills; proficiency in legal software and databases.
