Paralegal Specialist

At Neostella, we are seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our team. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in managing cases by conducting legal research, drafting documents, and maintaining case files.

• Conduct Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to various legal matters, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Draft and Review Documents: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Case File Management: Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible.
• Client and Court Communication: Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel as necessary to obtain information and schedule meetings.
• Preparation for Hearings and Trials: Assist attorneys in preparing for court hearings, trials, and depositions by managing exhibits, witnesses, and trial materials.
• Staying Up-to-Date: Stay updated with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to provide informed support to the legal team.
• Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, such as managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence.
• Billing and Timekeeping: Assist with billing and timekeeping to ensure accurate records of legal services provided.

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a corporate or law firm environment.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation, proficiency in legal research tools, electronic filing systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Personal Qualities: Excellent organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
