Position Title: Senior UI/UX Designer
Location: Hybrid - Medellín

Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior designers in developing product concepts and product designs by following design best practices.
Ideate and iterate UI solutions with designers and stakeholders (product, engineering).
Make user-centered recommendations to improve the overall user experience.
Use design tools to deliver basic design artifacts (wireframes, user flows, interaction designs, prototypes) utilizing responsive design best practices.
Create pixel-perfect designs in Figma that follow standard grid system methodologies.
Communicate design solutions to stakeholders using sketches, mockups, and other visual aids.
Review requirements and work off of assigned tickets, and create their tickets and requirements where needed to better organize tasks.
Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends and technologies to ensure that our products remain competitive and innovative.
Maintain strong communication and collaboration to help brainstorm and conceptualize effectively across digital communication channels.

Requirements & Qualifications:
4-5 years of experience in a UI/UX design role.
Strong creative, technical, and critical problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in remote collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Teams.
Proficiency using Figma, Miro, and Material UI.
Strong understanding of modern design principles and user-centered design, including expert knowledge of web design, layout, and typography.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills.
Ability and experience to thrive in a remote work environment and manage multiple tasks at once.
Able to work within an evolving design system.
Familiar with common web and mobile UI design patterns used by other successful eCommerce businesses.
Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
A portfolio that demonstrates experience in designing user-centered solutions.
Understand appropriate applications, capabilities, and limitations of common image file types -.WEBP,.SVG,.PNG,.GIF.
Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
Experience working in the e-commerce industry is preferred but not required.
