Lean Tech is a rapidly expanding organization situated in the vibrant city of Medellín, Colombia. Our corporate projections offer numerous opportunities for professionals to elevate their careers and experience substantial growth. You will be working in a pre-existing framework with established brand standards and visual ID. As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will play a supporting role under the guidance of senior designers on projects of varying size and complexity. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting senior designers in developing product concepts and product designs by following design best practices. You will ideate and iterate UI solutions with designers and stakeholders, making user-centered recommendations to improve the overall user experience. You will use design tools to deliver basic design artifacts, such as wireframes, user flows, interaction designs, and prototypes, utilizing responsive design best practices. You will create pixel-perfect designs in Figma that follow standard grid system methodologies. Effective communication and collaboration are essential in this role, as you will be communicating design solutions to stakeholders using sketches, mockups, and other visual aids. You will also review requirements and work off assigned tickets, creating your own tickets and requirements where needed to better organize tasks. Staying up-to-date with emerging design trends and technologies is crucial to ensure that our products remain competitive and innovative. Your strong communication and collaboration skills will help you brainstorm and conceptualize effectively across digital communication channels. To excel in this role, you will need 4-5 years of experience in a UI/UX design role, strong creative, technical, and critical problem-solving skills, and proficiency in remote collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Teams. You will also need to be proficient in Figma, Miro, and Material UI, with a strong understanding of modern design principles and user-centered design. Excellent communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to thrive in a remote work environment and manage multiple tasks at once. You will also need to be able to work within an evolving design system and be familiar with common web and mobile UI design patterns used by other successful eCommerce businesses. A good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is also required, as well as a portfolio that demonstrates experience in designing user-centered solutions. Strong English language skills, both written and verbal, are a must. Experience working in the e-commerce industry is preferred but not required.
