Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Market Operations Specialist to join our team in Bogota, Colombia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Asset Servicing division by executing individual goals and initiatives that support business strategies and objectives.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

Main Accountabilities:

  1. Drive and enhance a customer-focused culture within the team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  2. Maintain operational efficiency of Income Processing at a high level in accordance with approved policy and procedures.
  3. Implement new processes and systems as required, identify challenges, and pursue opportunities to improve processing efficiency.
  4. Provide high-level customer service to all business lines by ensuring accurate and timely transaction completion.
  5. Develop the team by providing ongoing coaching feedback, training, and cross-training as required.
  6. Manage related risk and minimize losses by reviewing and signing off the team's work.
  7. Assist the department manager in maintaining control accounts and performing ad-hoc functions as needed.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in financial services, reconciliation procedures, or accounting.
  • Capital Markets industry experience/knowledge, ideally within Asset Servicing.
  • Expert knowledge of Income Processing, stock borrow loan transactions, fail trades, and market entitlements compensations.
  • Excellent technical skills (VBA, SQL, PowerBi, Python, R).
Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Securities & Operations group practices and regulations, as well as excellent organizational and data analysis skills.

A sound knowledge of ADP's income processing application (DIVSY) and BFS applications is also necessary.

The successful candidate will be able to prioritize tasks, deal with multiple situations, and maintain attention to detail.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
