LHR Americas is a leading recruitment agency that specializes in placing highly skilled professionals with top clients around the world. Our client, a prominent player in the global energy industry, is seeking an experienced Strategic Business Venture Manager to join their Development Department.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for directing activities related to sourcing, screening, and developing business ventures, as well as managing negotiation strategies and providing administrative direction to a team of professionals.
Responsibilities- Manage the business development process through deal closure, prioritizing business proposals against investment criteria and offering commercial & technical solutions to make up the company's business offering.
- Work with investor(s) to establish strategic, financial, and operational goals and milestones for new ventures.
- Review investor proposals and approve contract payments and variations within authority limits.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure deal alignment and progression.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or equivalent.
- 12 years of experience in business development, finance, or a related field.
- CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), PMP (Project Management Professional), or similar.
- Industry expertise and knowledge of specific business transaction and venturing activities.
- Expertise in financial analysis and transaction valuation.
- Monthly Base Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Monthly Overbase: 25% of monthly base salary.
- Benefits Supplement: 20% of monthly base salary after 3 years of service, increasing to 30% after 6 years and 35% after 12 years.
- Severance Package: 2 week's pay for each year of service after 2 years, increasing to 4 week's pay for each year after 6 years.
- Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP): eligible after 12 months of service, maximum purchase equal to 10% monthly base pay with a cap.
- Incentive Plan: annual, based on performance, approximately 1.8x monthly base salary.
Saudi Arabia, with opportunities for international travel.
