About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Financial Analyst to join our Finance Operations team at Johnson & Johnson De Colombia S.A. as a Procurement & General Accounting Junior Analyst.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support all global activities related to procurement accounting, including GRIR (goods receipt/invoice receipt) activities, procurement accruals, and general accounting activities.
  • Responsible for the complete and accurate accounting for all general process flows for the Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
  • Responsible for overseeing Local Travel and Expense Administration and standardizing the process to follow global taxonomy.
  • Responsible for the analysis of Balance Sheet accounts assigned and timely resolution of open items.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations.
  • Support ongoing improvements and automation projects within the accounting team.
  • Remain updated with industry trends, changes in accounting rulings, and latest technologies.
Compliance
  • Assist in any audit process raised by Legal Entity Controllership.
  • Adhere to the strong internal controls in place to achieve 'adequate' internal and external audit ratings.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a bachelor's level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance.
  • Intermediate English.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Procurement and General Accounting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Be open to new ideas, rapid change, and embracing new technologies.
  • Be organized and work efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in SAP, Excel, and other Microsoft tools.
  • Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge.
