Sales and Growth Opportunities


The eCommerce Account Manager role at Sovos offers a dynamic and challenging environment where professionals can excel in sales and commercial operations. This position is responsible for overseeing the commercial operations of the e-commerce team and working closely with clients to sell company products, negotiate contracts, and manage the entire renewals process.


To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the e-commerce industry and the ability to effectively communicate the value of Sovos' products and services to clients. You will also need to have excellent negotiation and contract management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various departments throughout the company.


Key Responsibilities



  • Prospect within assigned territory to create leads for new client sales
  • Sell and promote SaaS solutions to new accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic opportunity plans to ensure quota attainment
  • Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders
  • Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external client satisfaction
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to share new ideas and business development strategies
  • Leverage multiple communication methods
  • Skilled at time management and prioritization
  • Effective at territory planning and execution
  • Efficient at asking questions to understand needs and uncover opportunities
  • Acts as a role model and mentor across the organization, sharing best practices and messaging
  • Shows willingness to learn from other sales roles, internal business partners, and client experiences

Requirements



  • Ability to navigate and manage end-to-end sales cycles
  • 2-4 years' experience in a quota-carrying sales role or similar; software solution sales preferred
  • Knowledge of contact management solutions, preferably
  • Business travel may be required to attend client meetings and conferences
