About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Manager to join our team at Mastercard. As a key member of our Financial Planning & Analysis function, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of management reporting, including budgeting and forecasting, strategic and customer planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the financial close process through the analysis of variances against budget, forecasts, and prior year actuals.
  • Drive the development of the annual plan/budget, forecast, and opportunities & risks.
  • Manage, develop and create standardized financial reporting packages to support the business.
  • Develop presentations for quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and quarterly operating reviews (QORs).
  • Drive Mastercard strategic plans by providing relevant financial analytics and business insights.
  • Execute on financial process improvements by building and maintaining financial tools.
  • Investigate and create opportunities for automation and more efficient methods.
  • Lead special projects as they arise.
  • Guide and mentor the team.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant or CPA or MBA Finance degree.
  • Experience in varied financial roles with advanced knowledge of financial planning and management.
  • Good knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and financial systems/applications.
  • Strong analytical and proven problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success in a team environment.
  • Good influencing skills, able to communicate and present to management.
  • Strong relationship management and networking skills.
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities of different nature in a condensed timeframe.
