We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Medical Professional to work in the region of Bogota, Colombia.

Office: The position will require an average of 12 days a month on site in Bogotá, Colombia.

Location: Bogotá, Colombia.

Role:

The Senior Medical Advisor is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and execution of Medical Affairs plans for the assigned Therapy Area, providing scientific information, helping to design and organize clinical studies, building an educational dialogue with KOLs and regulatory stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide High-Quality Responses: Ensure medical enquiries are responded to in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable standards; establish response documents for frequently asked questions.
  • Scientific Input: Provide medical/scientific input into the development and execution of clinical trial or clinical research related activities, including initiation and oversight of clinical studies / clinical research within the respective therapeutic area.
  • Country Strategy: Support country strategy for Non-Interventional Studies/Investigator Initiated Trial activities.
  • Review and Approval: Coordinate review and approval of medical materials and locally developed promotional materials; ensure medical materials provided from global or region for partner engagement and events are tailored to local needs and reviewed/approved by local guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Ensure medical insights are provided to cross-functional groups, including Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory affairs, Market Access, QA, Commercial teams, Brand team and others.
  • Risk Management: Responsible for risk identification and assessment, mitigation planning as well as implementation and monitoring of internal controls within the area of responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree in life science is mandatory, and having a physician (MD) qualification is desirable.
  • Validated experience in similar roles.
  • Excellent partnership skills.
  • Detailed understanding of national healthcare systems.
  • Proficient in English and Spanish.
  • Cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strategic mindset and ability to learn quickly.
  • Availability to do up to 30% of fieldwork.

Compensation Package:

This role offers a salary between $110,000 and $123,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings, paid time off, and more.
