Financial Operations Specialist for LATAM

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team in LATAM. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and analyze financial data from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Perform regular financial reconciliations to ensure consistency and accuracy across accounts.
  • Develop and maintain detailed budget controls to monitor expenditures across departments.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant accounting practices in line with GAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Act as a key user for Navision ERP within the finance department, ensuring efficient use of the system for financial transactions, data migration, and reporting.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report on key financial indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, expenses, operating margins, and other performance metrics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial databases and Excel models for tracking key financial metrics.
  • Monitor and ensure timely submission of all financial reports required by local regulatory entities in the LATAM region.
  • Support the finance team with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis to align with company financial goals.
  • Ensure that all financial processes comply with internal controls, local accounting regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in finance roles within multinational environments, preferably in the gambling or technology sectors.
  • Proficiency in Navision ERP or similar ERP systems, with strong skills in ERP implementation, data extraction, and system optimization.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with expertise in functions like VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, and data visualization tools.
  • Optional knowledge of database management (e.g., SQL, Power BI) to handle and analyze large datasets.
  • Experience in financial reconciliations and financial close processes.
  • Expertise in tracking, analyzing, and reporting financial KPIs and creating automated financial dashboards.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards, including experience in creating compliant financial reports.
  • Experience in budget control and variance analysis, as well as ensuring accounting controls are properly implemented.
  • Familiarity with local regulatory reporting requirements in LATAM, including tax and gaming-related regulations.
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and spoken) for effective communication across Latin America and central TEAM.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
