About the Role:

We're seeking a talented Cloud Platform Director to join our team at Bizagi. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our PaaS offering for customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for our cloud operations, ensuring seamless delivery of our PaaS solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure PaaS solutions, utilizing Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, driving large-scale changes and transformation initiatives.
  • Lead a team of Azure specialists, architects, and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Develop and maintain cloud computing infrastructure and platforms, ensuring compliance with Azure security standards and industry best practices.
  • Drive towards new Cloud Native ways of working, such as Site Reliability Engineering, GitOps, Modern Engineering, and Modern Testing.
  • Provide technical guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices and efficient utilization of Azure resources.
  • Develop security-related policies and guidelines, applying and monitoring the implementation of a security infrastructure.
  • Participate in all phases of the cloud integration engineering life cycle, troubleshooting technical problems as they arise.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to understand customer needs and pain points, ensuring our PaaS solutions meet customer expectations in terms of performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Continuously improve the customer experience by monitoring and optimizing PaaS solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience in cloud computing-based services architecture, technical design, and implementations, including Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IAAS), Platform-as-a-Service (PAAS), and Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) delivery models.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
  • Extensive experience in technical engineering, architecture, and/or development roles.
  • Extensive experience working in a large IT environment in support of IT service and business processes, with proven track record of driving large-scale changes.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a minimum of 3 years leading and developing a globally distributed team.
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure automation, instrumentation, and full-stack technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of DevOps techniques and strategies for both application and infrastructure builds and releases.
  • Expertise in cloud engineering and operations, Disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
