Role Responsibilities
The Senior Team Leader will play a crucial role in the Lease Accounting team within Kenvue's Finance Operations. This position involves:
- Overseeing all aspects of Lease Accounting, including initial assessments, disposals, and transfers, while supporting the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Driving improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting team.
- Staying informed about industry trends, accounting regulations, and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
- Executing timely financial period closings in accordance with established calendars and compliance requirements.
- Ensuring the accuracy and validity of reported financial data.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process efficiencies.
- Leading a team of 2 or more, focusing on talent development and performance management.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- At least 2 years of management or supervisory experience.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- A willingness to embrace new ideas and adapt to rapid changes.
- Experience in a Shared Service Center or a multinational corporation.
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP and proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
