Key Responsibilities:
- Support all activities related to Leases Accounting, including initial lease assessments, disposals, transfers, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Support ongoing improvements and automation projects within the accounting team.
- Remain current with industry trends, changes in accounting rulings, and latest technologies to ensure the team is evolving as per industry standards.
Compliance:
- Assist in any audit process raised by Legal Entity Controllership.
- Adhere to the strong internal controls in place to achieve "adequate" internal and external audit ratings.
- Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's level degree or equivalent in accounting or finance.
- Fluent English, other language skills desirable.
- 1-3 years of professional experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
- Be open to new ideas, rapid change, and embracing new technologies.
- Experience in a Lease Accounting department desirable.
- Be organized and work efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
- Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge preferable.
- Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO.
