About the Role
As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will work with our existing network of carriers and build and develop your own carrier base to negotiate rates and effectively support our customer base. This role combines inside sales, account management, and operational activities to meet the needs of our customers. This is a fast-paced environment with high pressure and deadlines to meet daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Source qualified transportation providers and develop relationships.
- Research new carriers, generate leads, and develop new carrier relationships.
- Leverage technology and data to make informed decisions and improve efficiency.
- Identify issues proactively and follow up until completion.
- Maintain and establish relationships with carriers to expand service and capacity opportunities.
- Track customer orders and communicate efficiently with the carrier base for information.
- Ensure shipment details are accurately communicated and tracked in the system.
- Understand volatility in pricing markets, seasonal trends, disruptions, etc.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High School Degree is required. Studies in International Business, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Logistics-related fields are desirable. Additional studies are also considered.
- Experience: 1-2 years minimum of Freight Brokerage experience is required.
- Language: Advanced English skills are required, with a B2 or C1 level preferred.

- Contract: Indefinite contract with benefits.
- Location: Remote position, only available in Colombia.
