About the Role:
The Executive Pastry Chef will be responsible for leading our pastry team, overseeing the preparation of sweet and savory items, and ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in all aspects of our culinary operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the selection, training, and development of pastry team members to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Assist in the planning and development of menus, ensuring the correct preparation and presentation of all food items.
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, and inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation standards, local regulations, and Four Seasons' policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure operational needs are met.
Requirements:
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced pastry chef with a passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will have a college degree in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, with 5-7 years of experience in multiple culinary/food & beverage department head positions.
