Job Summary:
FinStrat Management is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Staff Accountant. This is a full-time remote position that requires strong accounting operations and financial reporting skills to support our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly financial close and related activities for clients, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Conduct thorough account analysis and reconciliation to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
- Manage client accounts receivable, including invoicing clients' customers and processing payments.
- Process client accounts payable, including approval workflows and issue resolution.
- Communicate and report to tax agencies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Address client and third-party inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
- Ensure all assignments meet our quality standards, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Identify and communicate engagement matters to clients, managers, and partners, providing exceptional client service.
Requirements:
- Professional Knowledge:
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience, with a strong understanding of financial operations and reporting.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
- Soft Skills:
- Professional working proficiency in English, with excellent communication and social skills.
- Ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously, with a strong commitment to meeting business deadlines.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
