Job Summary

The Sanctions Operations Data Entry Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our transactions and adherence to regulatory requirements. As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for analyzing alerts, investigating customers and transactions, and ensuring compliance with Citi's Global Sanctions Policy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze alerts and investigate customers/transactions with Sanction Screening for all incoming and outgoing transactions in Payments and Receivables area of LATAM.
  2. Perform simple investigations by conducting searches in specific databases to determine if alert has to be dismissed or escalated.
  3. Ensure that all alert analysis and investigations are performed within timeframe provided in the policy and stipulated in the SLA's with the countries.
  4. Monitor adherence to Citi's Global Sanctions Policy and relevant procedures; stay current on key Sanctions regulatory changes, key enforcement actions and related industry trends.
  5. Support management in other internal departmental roles when high volumes of processing are presented (Data Entry, Funds Transfer Processing areas as Maker, MIFT Process Operator, etc.), always in compliance with the Internal Policies and Controls established by Citi.
  6. Comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhere to Policy, apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency.
  7. Oversee adherence to procedures and processes, to ensure compliance with policies ensuring that required standards are met.
  8. Support Investigation, documentation and corrective action implementation of any topic that could need this interaction.
  9. Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, technical experience and precedent.
Requirements
  1. Previous relevant professional experience in document analysis.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) preferred.
  4. Knowledge in Portuguese language (Nice to have).
  5. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization.
  6. Strong skills of attention to detail, time management and quality.
  7. Excellent analytical skills.
  8. Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power Bi).
Education

Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
