About the LocationOur Cartagena property is a collection of landmark buildings dating back to the 16th century. Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral- Lead a team of culinary and beverage professionals to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Maintain and elevate the concept integrity of each venue through collaboration with the F&B and marketing teams.
- Innovate culinary and mixology experiences within the community, focusing on guest-centric skills and exceptional understanding of relevant trends.
- Develop and implement effective marketing and activations to cultivate relationships with regular guests and new patrons.
- Coordinate the selection, training, development, and evaluation of employees and managers in the F&B division to ensure established cultural and core standards are met.
- Oversee management hires and development to ensure the highest standards of leadership.
- Collaborate with the F&B, Culinary managers, and craftsman to design effective menus, wine lists, beverage programs, generosity moments, and amenity offerings.
- Attract and retain local talent in a challenging market and support their development and growth.
- Enhance Four Seasons brand leadership by infusing local heritage and culture into the product and service offerings.
- Deliver large-scale operations, including large banquet operations and private events, with an entrepreneurial spirit and skill set.
- Innovate and create best-in-class product offerings in F&B and catering.
- Provide strategic and operational expertise to key stakeholders in the business.
- Focus on guest experience and creating unique culinary experiences for both corporate and leisure travelers.
- Develop strong commercial acumen, with excellent knowledge of reservation forecast, buying patterns, and market segment preferences.
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective planning, budgeting, purchasing decisions, policy making, and inventory control.
- Oversee the management of scheduling, payroll, POS, Medallia, and other F&B systems to optimize revenue, maximize profit, and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Play an active role in developing strategic business plans that support the delivery of the budget.
