Director, Commercial Data Services & Subscriptions

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our commercial data services team. This is a key role that will play a critical part in shaping the future of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a commercial model that aligns with our strategic objectives.
  2. Implement efficient processes to support the commercial model.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of commercial strategies.
  4. Monitor and analyze market trends to inform commercial model development.
  5. Drive continuous improvement of commercial operations through process optimization.
  6. Broaden reach of subscription-based solutions through innovative delivery tools/platforms and performance measurement reporting.
  7. Provide leadership and direction to the commercial team.
  8. Proactively develop and manage key relationships with clients, stakeholders, and business partners.
  9. Accountable for partnership with external vendors, including quality assessment of information provided and monitoring of results.
  10. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  11. Sales pipeline execution and management.

Requirements

  1. 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or a minimum of 3 years of work experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 12 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 6+ years of experience. Bachelor's degree required, ideally in quantitative field (e.g. engineering, mathematics, science) and/or business administration (e.g. business, marketing, finance) from a top-tier school.
  2. Proven experience in commercial model development and execution.
  3. Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance. Significant focus on impacting ROI.
  4. Strong understanding of market dynamics and business operations.
  5. Superior strategic planning and analytical abilities.
  6. Proficiency in using business software, including CRM and data analysis tools.
  7. Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
  8. Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/or payment schemes, including products & services, business systems and processes, marketing initiatives, and card acquiring experience.
  9. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  10. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, including storytelling.
  11. Ability to travel up to 25%.
  12. Technology mindset, curious, up-to-date with digital trends and applications.
  13. English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
