About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Legal Billing Specialist with 2+ years of experience managing invoicing, payments, and reconciliation for law firms. The ideal candidate is highly accurate, detail‑oriented, and familiar with legal billing software and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm policies.
- Track payments, follow up on outstanding balances, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate financial records in case management and accounting systems.
- Generate billing reports for management and attorneys.
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in law firm billing or accounting.
- Proficiency in legal billing software (Clio, Timeslips) and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines consistently.
