World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding.
This is a Contract/Consultant position. Generally, working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements. The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language.

**Position Overview**
In a fast-paced, high-expectation, results-oriented environment, the Legal Billing Analyst will be responsible for the control of the legal budget, including tracking, invoices reconciliation, and timely processing of payments to external law firms.
- Review the budget to ensure compliance with company policies and negotiated fee arrangements.
- Request billing projections and forecasts for ongoing cases to facilitate financial planning and budgeting.
- Prepare detailed reports on legal billing expenditures, trends, and cost-saving opportunities for senior management.
- Review legal invoices to ensure alignment with the respective engagement letter and litigation tracking reports.
- Monitor and report financial information received from law firms.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in accounts payable, legal billing or auditing; preferably in the US.
- Degree Business Administration, Accounting, Auditing or Finance.
- Excellent organizational, communication (both written and verbal) and computer skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented and resourceful with excellent follow-through skills.
- Able to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally.
