**About the role**

**What would your day-to-day look like**:

- Consult with business leaders and operations teams to identify and automate manual workflows
- Drive the end-to-end system architecture and ensure integration of new technologies and methodologies to enhance performance and functionality.
- Define data requirements, design and implement appropriate ETL and reconciliation processes
- Develop and scale the data pipelines feeding our data warehouse and financial ledgers
- Design & deploy automated pipeline management and monitoring.
- Experiment with new tools and technologies to improve data efficiency, quality and consistency.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to technical team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Establish, maintain and document high data quality standards.
- Be a trusted advisor to our technology leadership and your peers.
- ** Fluent / Highly Skilled In**: Deliver projects rapidly and efficiently, Python, Distributed System Design, API Design, Code Review & Design Patterns, Data Warehousing in cloud environments and Unit & Integration Testing, Leading Cross-Functional teams and projects, Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- ** Comfortable / Moderate Skill with**: SQL, Github Actions & Terraform (or similar), Designing and deploying Data Warehouses
- ** Excited to Learn/Interested in**: Test-driven development, Finance or Accounting systems, Scala, Front-end development Javascript/Typescript and a framework (eg Angular/React)
