Under the supervision of the Country Manager and the Operations Regional Director, is responsible to coordinate the cooperation between his/her work area with all other areas of the company such that the flow of information is always friction free, unfettered, and ensuring a positive comprehensive coordination. He/She is responsible for managing operational activities of the department, plan and develop systems and procedures to improve operational quality, guarantee a fluent communication between customer service team with customers and other internal offices, monitor subcontractors, ensure smooth operations during shift and support corporate mission, goals and management decisions.
- (Bajo la supervisión del Gerente General y del Director Regional de Operaciones, es responsable de coordinar la cooperación entre su área de trabajo con todos los demás áreas de la compañía de tal manera que el flujo de información sea siempre libre de fricciones, sin trabas, y se asegure una coordinación integral positiva. Es responsable de administrar las actividades operacionales del departamento, planificar y desarrollar sistemas y procedimientos para mejorar la calidad de las operaciones, garantizar una comunicación fluida entre el equipo de customer services con los clientes y otras oficinas internas de la compañía y monitorear los sub-contratistas, asegurar el buen funcionamiento de las operaciones durante su turno y respaldar la misión corporativa, objetivos y decisiones de dirección.)_

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES _(DEBERES Y RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES)_:_

- The operational quality of the department is optimized. _(La calidad operativa del departamento sea optimizada)._
- Existing equipment and available instruments are used most efficiently. _(El equipo existente y los instrumentos disponibles sean utilizados más eficientemente)._
- The operational capability of the department is warranted all the time. _(La capacidad operativa del departamento esté garantizada todo el tiempo)._
- The safety at work is ensured. (_Se garantice la seguridad en el trabajo)._
- All new relevant and applicable regulations and guidelines become integrated to operational procedures. _(Todos los nuevos reglamentos y directrices pertinentes y aplicables sean integrados a los procedimientos operativos)_
- To Build and maintain good relationships with customers, contractors / transporters (airlines, handling agents, the Rail, customs, government agencies, veterinarians, suppliers, etc). _(Construir y mantener buenas relaciones con clientes, contratistas / transportistas (líneas aéreas, agentes de manejo, ferrocarriles, aduanas, organismos gubernamentales, veterinarios, proveedores, etc.)_
- To work with customers and other offices in the communications and follow ups of the shipments_. _(Trabajar con los clientes y otras oficinas en las comunicaciones y seguimiento de los envíos.)_

To inform to the Country Manager the existing or facing lacks of operational quality and extraordinary occurrences in the department.
- (Informar al Gerente del Paíslas fallas existentes o potenciales en calidad operacional y/o acontecimientos extraordinarios en el departamento)._

To ensure quality of service, by constant supervision of staff, regular checking of system and identification of problems that need to be solved.

To ensure compliance with prescribed quality standards and issues as per ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and GxP compliance program.

Proactively and consistently monitor jobs through TMS to ensure trouble-free delivery. _(Monitoreo proactivo y consistente de los trabajos a través de TMS para asegurar la entrega sin problemas)_ To oversee and ensure the smooth passage of shipments through customs.
