Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify and prospect potential clients in the maritime industry, including shipping companies, port authorities, freight forwarders, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Understand client needs and requirements and propose tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and management, to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure new business opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
**Requirements**:
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the maritime or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of maritime logistics processes and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on delivering results.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- English (B2+)
